After about a several mile drive down a peaceful dirt road you arrive at the end where this beautiful campground sits. It's so peaceful here with tons of wildlife and one of the most peaceful ponds I've been on. There's a beautiful island in the middle and some wonderfully easy and beautiful hiking trails. The campground overall is very well maintained. It's also very remote so don't expect showers. However the water is very clear and perfect for rinsing off after a hike. during the height of the summer it wasn't even that packed and there aren't that many campground sites compared to other parks. It definitely left here feeling like I would come back many more times and I'm sure I will.
