It was a nice day to spend outside. Kids played in the water which had a safe boundary, 3-4ft deep max, and safe from the boats.
It wasn’t super crowded, pet friendly, nearby park for dry play, and bathrooms clean and spacious.
My parents went on kayaks while I laid back watching the kids play in the water. Beach was free, kayaks reasonable priced.
My only issue was that there was A LOT of dog poop everywhere. I mean, in the grass and in the sand. And you definitely need footwear to wear in the water because the rocks were poking.
Overall, I recommend it for your family friendly relaxing beach day here.
