We reserved on the phone, site unseen. When we pulled in, the site they gave us was occupied. We never cleared that up, although there is a single reservation number for both the Clovis and Portales parks. The sites were extremely tight packed. We choose one with cement tracks, but most of the sites were dirt. There was little if any maintenance of the sites; old trash, tall grass, tumbleweeds and ancient gravel. It was hard to walk around to set up the trailer. We did have full hookups that presented no problems. If they would level, widen and gravel the sites, cut down grass around hookups and check each site for cleanup after each guest, it would be worth the price they charge. Providing a little maintenance could go a long way in word of mouth advertising.
