Hueco Tanks State Park was on of the most intriguing experiences I’ve had. This powerful energetic land speaks to you as you free-range boulder and hike through staggering formations and geological structures. With 1000’s of years of history, the park is riddled with 100’s and 100’s of ancient pictographs. Once you get a knack for where they typically are, certain over-hangs and crawl spaces, you begin to figure out where to look for them. As I spotted likely areas I would crawl, scoot, slide on back and belly to get through spaces in search and half the time I’d find some. Simply amazing. One of my new top favorite parks in the world.
