Went on Cave Creek trail up to the caves. An unusually flat trail for being deep in the mountains. Only a few short, steep, or rocky stretches to the caves, an easy half day hike. One stream crossing where the trail leaves the Panchuela valley and starts up Cave Creek. A couple of short wet stretches. A $2 charge to park your car at the lot. Dense mixed forest. Would make a good hike at peak fall color.
