We stayed at the south Monticello campground within the state park adjacent to the Rio grande river for 5 nights. Don't know why it's called South when it's actually on the North side of the state park, but what a nice campground! Sites are spacious and well spaced apart and very clean. Water and electric onsite for only $15/day at the time of this posting. Big rig friendly too.
