I see some reviews saying that there aren't many camp sites and the camp host doesn't leave you alone. I believe he leaves people alone as long as they aren't causing any trouble. They have different people running the campground each year but they have all been great! They keep an eye on things! This is a family oriented campground, not a party place. As far as the number of sites to choose from, there are about 30! There are only about 10 down by the water but many more up the hill. They seem to fill up fast so it's usually first come first serve but I know they take reservations! So if you have a favorite spot, call and reserve it! The only bad experience Ive had there was from disrespectful campers. I love the peacefulness of the lake in the early morning and late at night.

The dog fee is $5.00 per dog, per day. It helps cover time and effort in cleaning up after them and putting up with their owners not always keeping them tied up and quiet.
