( please note you can not stay here with a card, they accept cash and tenting is 25$ a day plus and added 11$ per added person that I was not told about until payment even tho I had called ahead. )
This is in fact a quiet camp ground mostly rv and camper. Not many tent sites, however tent sites do have water and electric which is nice! They have a rec hall with a poll table ( $1.50 to play ) with a library as well with a good assortment of new and older books. The owners are fairly polite and on a good mood most of the time. The showers are nice, nothing too special ,but very private! Which I like alot. One shower for each gender so the privacy can get in the way if you would like to shower and someone is already there. The bathrooms are well kept and clean. And they also have live music on holiday ( like memorial day) you can buy firewood 45$ for a bucket load.
You are provided with a fire ring if you are in a tent site. However max stay at the tent sites is only 1 week. Reason being I was told was they have to only have tenters that long for when they are " audited ". Quiet time here is at 10 and no guns are allowed on property. ( gun owners should know ) pets are allowed here and there is a friendly cat named fester that roams about.
There is a small shop at the office that has a few snacks and things alike but during the time I was there it was never open. There is no WiFi anywhere and Signal here could be for some people spotty.
There is a family near the camp ground who has police there often and they shoot guns a lot , not the camp grounds fault but still not pleasant.
Deff bring your bug spray to this camp site! Lots of bugs and a lot of ticks!! Once again not the camps fault just what it is.
There is also a nice lake with a dock and covered picnic place. With electrical outlits! So that is nice to charge ur phone if need be!
I enjoyed my stay here, but I really recommend for price and what you will get is Mascoma lake campgrounds in Enfield!
