This is a neat little stop if you want to see some of the beautiful Nebraska terrain up close. We used this as a stop-over point on a trip to see some national parks. The location is ideal for paying a visit to the Agate fossil beds national monument before continuing our journey. It was also a great opportunity to discuss the land and how it is used compared to our home further East. If you don't mind a few dozen miles of gravel, approach from the East to see the country and sour a few antelope. If you approach from the west it is paved right up to the camp.
