Very few people around considering it was July 1. We stayed in one of the two cabins. We loved the screened in porch for bird watching and the steps outside our cabin leading to the waters edge. The setting was lovely, but the cabin was so dirty and really needs some attention. The curtains are likely original to the cabin and yellowed (by smoke?) from years gone by. The bed we slept in was pretty tough too... mattress from the 60s? We usually have good luck with state parks. Although we like rustic, we don’t like dirty. This was one of the few places where we didn’t want to touch anything. (Just FYI-little to no cell reception here)
