Honestly surprised me! In a good way. The state has put some money into the campsites, trails, horseback riding and lake. The trees are beautiful around the park.
We rode bikes around the lake on the trail. Several horseback people were seen on the horse trails. Very pretty ride.
Played at playground, beach, and several fishing spots. Had a great time and glad this is close to home. Still have my trips to Jackson hole planned, but will be coming here more for short excursions.
