We visited Glacier National Park in mid-October (the last weekend before the season closed) and Paddle Ridge was one of the only lodging accommodations open and the closest to the west entrance of the park. It was about a 5 minute drive.

Check-in and check-out was very easy and the employees were very accommodating if you were running late. They were also very helpful in giving us tips on what to do if you encounter a bear and also gave us a thorough demonstration on how to use bear spray which we really appreciated!

The 1-bedroom cabin we stayed in was perfect for my husband and I and spacious enough for us to relax in after hiking every day. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The towels and linens were plentiful. I appreciated the facial tissues for my runny nose and kitchen napkins for our meals. We found the bed and pillows to be comfortable for a good night's sleep. The shower got super hot quick and the water pressure was great.

The views of our cabin were beautiful and we also appreciated the BBQ grill and table outside to enjoy a meal. We didn't fish in the trout pond as we just didn't have enough time but it was nice to look at.

Wifi worked great in the cabin and there is satellite TV. There is also a hair dryer and iron with a small ironing board which met all of our creature comforts. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
