This is a very average RV park. I registered online, and paid my bill.
I’m staying in my travel trailer for one night. I clicked I had a pet. I saw the charge for a pet and thought it was excessive, $30. $30 for a 12 pound dog. The camp spot was $56. So my dog was over 50% of the RV spot.
So I registered the pet fee was not added to my total. I assumed the pet fee was only for the cabins, since the dog was staying in my trailer.
Today, post arrival they are asking for the $30 pet fee. Not sure I’m going to pay it since it seems excessive.
Don’t stay here.
Follow up to owner’s response. He fee was not disclosed on the website. I added a pet when registering on line. The total did not include the pet fee. They try to collect it after you arrive. It must be spending money for them. There was no sales tax added, so I think they are tax cheats too. Tax free money, the bill was handwritten. So no way to track it.
