This site has fallen on some hard times. I assume there’s an issue with management or staffing; because the bathroom cleaning log indicated maintenance on a daily basis, and then suddenly it dropped off to less than once a week. Personally I really enjoyed my stay here. The tent site is quaint and has a lovely sunrise with good afternoon shade. You can see the mountains in the distance. There is grass at this site, so if you are tired of dirt and dust, this is a nice break. You are close to your neighbors, but luckily the other campers were really nice. I didn’t expect the roaming dogs but they were all friendly and not too pestering, even to my cautious dog. Though if you have a reactive or anxious pet, or dog scared kids, this is not the site for you. Also either the dogs or something else tipped over a trash can in the middle of the night and left a huge mess. The women’s bathroom is standard. Shower water leaked on the floor; but the water was warm and the shower was clean. I didn’t have an issue with the water pressure like some other people mentioned. Maybe that’s been fixed. Other men seemed to have successfully taken showers. I don’t think all or any of the electrical hook ups work at the tent sites. And the Wi-Fi at the tent site is basically nonexistent. Sometimes I get one bar of T-Mobile and sometimes I get three. Because of the staffing issue the office is not being manned at the posted hours. But they are super relaxed and will take your fee the next day if they miss you. I did not use the laundry. Or the dump station. Another thing to note is that there is a rodeo stadium and a powwow gathering spot right across the field so if you are sensitive to noise, especially at night, this might not be a good fit for you. But personally, I really enjoyed that part of the experience, as I am very interested in native culture and found the powwow to be beautiful to listen to. Overall, I think this is an excellent option for only 10 bucks a night if you are going to glacier. You can’t beat that price. It’s a sweet little spot to rest your head with decent bathrooms, good views, and warm showers. Management does have a list of things to improve, including communication, but I think it’s a gift to be welcomed on this land east of glacier to begin with. I think the last review is misleading… I’ve also been to so many campsites with broken glass and shotgun shells commonplace. So to say that this site is bad raises my eyebrow to expected cultural bias. Poo poo.
