Very beautiful campground in a nice, wooded area . It is conveniently located a few minutes down the road from the major charters in the area, but its convenient location does come along with road noises which can detract from the experience.

Overall, a pleasant stay, though, you may need to anticipate having neighbors as the camp sites are not so distantly located as my usual haunts in the Interior.

IF YOU ARE CAMPING IN A TENT:

-Make sure your zipper is at the top of your door, or you'll likely wake up with a puddle of water inside (ask me how I know).

-Anticipate having to strike your tent wet and pitch it somewhere dry, later, or toweling down most of it. This is very much a coastal campground.

BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN, DRY, FIRE WOOD!

-I did so, but would still recommend bringing a small tarp to fly for overhead cover, and maybe another small tarp to split your kindling on. I haven't struggled to keep a fire lit this badly since I first started learning to light fires.

-I recommend anticipating the use of far more kindling than you think you need

-I had to build a small, hot fire to cook, as my coals were nearly non-existent.

-Wouldn't really anticipate a warming fire unless you plan to use an absurd amount of lighter fluid, or a very large amount of wood, much if it split to kindling
