Wow... Fantastic hike up to Pioneer Falls from the camp ground at the end of the road. But! Hike up past the falls just another 10 minutes and you break out into a high meadow that offers spectacular views in every direction!! On a Monday in mid-Sept we never saw another person. Driving back thru Turner's Ranch there must have been 100+ Buffalo crossing the road. Really a beautiful corner of this great state~~
