$12/night to pitch a tent. It’s right by the river and the view is beautiful. However, it was very frustrating to pull up, exhausted, drive a good distance from camp host, who had her dog off leash and was not even monitoring the dog, let our dogs out to play in the river (zero interaction between the dogs whatsoever) and have the camp host come out and holler across the drive that our dogs needed to be on leash. When her dog was not on leash, no signs indicated it, and our dogs were not near her, her dog, or anyone for that matter. Respectfully, who would want to camp with their dog on leash? Seems like you can’t do anything these days without someone controlling your every move.
Seems like an ideal place for a single person without pets to stay. Wouldn’t recommend it otherwise.
