Definitely a worthwhile site for tent camping. Best aspect of this campground are the hosts, Mike and Amy. They were supremely kind, respectful, and offered to help if we needed anything. By far and away the nicest campground hosts I have come across.
The adjacent forest service road was regularly trafficked, but the babbling of Storm Castle Creek easily drowned out the noise. There was a griddle that we cooked on and the amenities included aluminum recycling.
Other campers brought camping trailers; the sites are large enough for a variety of accommodations. No cell phone service, so come prepared to immerse in company and wilderness.
