We stayed at Glacier campground for 4 nights in July. We have camped many nights and this was our first experience with a private campground, and unfortunately quite disappointing. We camped in a teardrop trailer. This campground has absolutely no advantage at all over a state or government owned campground. Here are some details about our experience.

First the pros:

- shaded campsites are nice for hot summer days

- laundry facility

- great location very close to the park entrance.

- Staff was pretty friendly and helpful.

The cons:

- Our site was VERY close to our neighbors site. The website does not provide any pictures from sites so it is more difficult to choose a site that fits your needs.

- Our electricity and water hookup were on opposite sides of our campsite, which makes for unnecessary trip hazard within our campsite, and it just doesn't make any sense. We've never seen this before.

- Shower and bathroom facilities were completely outdated and the shower layout does not make any sense. You have to pass through one shower stall to get to the next shower stall. Exposed electricity cables in wet areas is just dangerous.

- The campground only has 1 (yes your read it correctly, only 1!) old sink for dishes at the bottom of the campground. This location does not make any sense with all the tentsites located at the far end of the campground. We had to carry our bucket with sink waste water down the hill to this one sink every day to dispose of.

- This was by far the most expensive campground we ever stayed at with no advantages over cheaper ones. We have stayed in state parks and government campground in various states (OR, WA, WY, MT, ID etc.) and paid less than half of the nightly cost with better facilities. For us, it was definitely overpriced and not worth it.
