Indian cave has the best hiking trails in the state. From easy to calf burns they have it. We backpack into campsites all over the park. Anywhere from a 20min hike to right about an hour from any parking space. I'm 50yrs old and girlfriend is 69 and we have hiked all the trails in both directions. Poles can be helpful for some of the steep grade hills. Campsites vary with fire rings and tables at the Adirondack's. Pay attention to the wind if you're gonna be on top. Plenty of campsites deep in the woods. Coyote's can be fun to listen to at night. If you have dogs, they will love the trails. The office staff and maintenance crew are very friendly and informative if you are backpacking in. Fall and winter camps are the best. 2yrs in a row for New years! Post up for a few days and enjoy the peace and beauty of what nature has to offer.
