I’ve been fishing the elk for a few years now and always have just gone down river a bit to another outfitter and bank fished because I was told they wouldn’t shuttle my personal vehicle, even though many other rivers around do. I started calling around the other day because my little girl is old enough to float with me now in my kayak .Big elk said they would shuttle my truck so it would be ready when we were done and only for 30$!! I was pumped! After we got there we were greeted by the friendliest and most courteous owners and staff I think I’ve ever experienced on a river! I’ve been in sales a long time and what a breathe of fresh air to have some hospitality! I have no idea how I missed this place for so long but I promise it’s the only place my family will go from now on! The river was beautiful and we caught probably 40 smallmouth! Lots of deep holes to swim and we hardly dragged at all! We also learned they have an awesome campground, and cabins and an extremely clean and kid friendly facility! Can’t wait to go back!
