I have given this RV park two stars because of the following: nobody from the staff was in the actual RV park and when we called the two owners, only one answered which is understandable, because I myself am busy. Deb was very helpful and welcoming even though she wasn’t present. Unfortunately, as soon as we paid $30 and parked, a man approached my children while they were unattended and going to the bathroom. He questioned them and then seemingly disappeared without providing an explanation to them as to why he was pestering them. The man seemed to be one of the regulars from what my kids tell me, because he seemed to know the owners by acting defensive towards my kids. Once we got settled, Eric then came into the RV park and told us to leave because we had a pitbull mix with us. He said no pitbulls were allowed into the park. This was ironic to me because out of the five dogs in the park (including mine), ours was the most quiet and was leashed while three other dogs were running free and one simply did not shut up. We did get a refund but had to pack up in haste and had to go in search of another campsite. Also, the bathrooms had virtually no privacy. There were two toilets and two showering chamber, but with NO DOORS, just SHOWER CURTAINS. Anybody could walk in and see you doing your business or showering if they glanced through the cracks. The reason I didn’t give one star was because we did, in fact, get a refund, but also the co-owner Deb was very nice and helpful. I recommend the owners become more inclusive of dog breeds.
