As of the last time I visited, it was free. I will update, if it is not, next time I visit. There has been rumor of them wanting to start charging, because people have been trashing the place. So, in light of that, I say... Take nothing but pictures, and leave nothing but footprints, please. Remember to pack in, pack out. Whatever you bring with you, leaves with you. There aren't very many free places to camp, these days, anymore, because of this being a problem. Take care of nature. Thank you.
As for my review of the place...
It's pretty much a place for people to bring their horses in, camp, and ride around on horse trails, through the woods. There's a few campsites throughout premises, kind of dispersed. There's a group campsite area, for horse trailers, and then some of the other campsites are further away, so that you are isolated from other sites. There are lots of pretty views, here, so, it is a highly recommended place to visit, if you like boondock type camping and/or hiking. The only facilities available are vaulted toilets, and there is limited to no cell signal. Otherwise, it's just nature, some trails, and a few campsites.
Deuteronomy 23:12-13 (seriously, you should look that one up, if you're walking trails or camping)
