This is a great little resort out away from the lights of Fairbanks. There were plenty of activities to keep you moving and learning about the resort. The beds were comfortable just don’t expect anything fancy from the rooms. The Ice Museum was cool to see especially how they make the martini glasses. Our tour guide was two days in on the job so we did not get a seasoned veteran style tour with interesting tidbits but she was personable. The SUSV tours to the top of the mountain were really fun and they offer all sorts of warm drinks and food. The yurts had chairs for a place to sit and wait if the skies are cloudy. With a lot of people they can get really stuffy and unpleasant. We spent most of the four hours outside the yurt. Only one of our three people went into the Hot Springs and she enjoyed it. We went walking on several trails and were just in awe of how beautiful the landscape was with everything covered in feet of snow. We wanted to do the dog sledding and massage but you gotta book those early before you arrive to ensure a spot. We did get to see the dogs in their kennels and that was great.
