The campground is nice. The bath house is wonderful. The issue we had was that we had 3 families there, paid for reservations in advance, and the sites were not next to one another. We opted to all stay around the central camper because we all have children. Curfew from the website is 10pm. We got a call from the owner saying there was a complaint that we were being loud and disruptive. In fact, all of our children were asleep with us on our laps. Why would we wake up the kids after falling asleep at 9pm anyways? The following evening, one of the full time campers was asked by the owner to come over at 7:45pm (kids were still awake and playing at this time) to inform us that we needed to start "settling down" because the owner got a call from the camper next to our main site that we were too loud and disruptive. The gentleman that come over this time was very polite and stated that he felt we were not being loud or disruptive, simply letting the kids enjoy the outdoors with our families. Please keep in mind that we had a total of 6 children, ranging in age from 20 months to 8 years old, and 8 adults. Needless to say, we will not be going back. If you want your campground to be quiet and void of the laughter of children, the crackle of a campfire, or music maybe include that in your descriptions and policy. PS: We paid almost $200 per camper for 5 days. The single overnighter's were charged $30/night, by far less, based on what an overnight camper told us when we asked. You can do that math.
