The campground was great! We stayed in the Pittsburg side but will stay on the hermitage side next time for better views of the lake.
Staff was kind and very helpful. Took one star off because the only laundry and bathroom/shower facilities were quite far from the site. They should have one per loop at least.
There were tons of fireflies everywhere, the little beach on the hermitage side was beautiful and very peaceful. A lot of wildlife too!
Deer, raccoons, armadillos, birds, and more bugs than anyone could want.
There’s a nicely stocked grocery store not too far away, as well as gas stations and pubs.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
