Beautiful, beautiful place. FREE!! PACK IN/PACK OUT!! I enjoyed the seclusion and privacy. Extremely short walk to the river from my camp. The river is clear and not too deep. Gravel bank to the river, was only myself on. The flies are very horrible. I drove my Saturn SUV. No problems on the 7 mile gravel road. US Park Service personally came to inform me about severe weather coming in. Rained for 3 days. Other than that I WILL RETURN SOON!!
Update: It's April 9th-12th, 2023, I finally returned to find lots of renovations to the campground. They have removed lots of trees and bushes for 3 gravel parking pads, 3 lantern post, and 3 fire pits.😩... Not so remote now. Don't get me wrong , it's still a great place to camp, but now your closer to other campers. We had the campground to ourselves for 3 days then a few people showed up to hike.
