Woodsy park with lake. I am told a tornado came through and dropped a lot of trees. There is a lot of trees and limbs down throughout park. The sites at Cherokee Trace loop are more spacious than Fort Sherman loop. It was much noiser in Fort Sherman loop. The restrooms were clean. The fishing pier and playground were nice. This was on other end of park. Nice hiking trails and many deer in park. The park rangers and host are visible all day. I felt safe at this park.
