Park is nice and quiet. We stayed in red oak area with full hookups. Site 42 at red oak. We were by the bathhouse so people would come from the woods to go to the bathhouse and walk on our site. The site has a lot of trees and would be great for summer shade camping. Concrete pad was level. Watch out for the ditches. It can be tight when trying to park. Trails are wide enough for bikes. Lots of picnic tables and day area, boat ramp, and fishing pier. The playground is small with swings and a slide. There is a small camp store. They have interactive with reptiles at camp store....be careful! Restrooms and showers are very clean and have hot water!

Saw a lot of birds, squirrels, and plenty of squirrel nests. This is one of our favorite state parks.

If you get a chance to go on a hike, please go. The Rangers are very knowledgeable. Thanknyou Ranger Eric
