This is a pretty campground on the surface. Nice big lots, very peaceful-which we like as we are pretty quiet people. We don't play loud music and were in bed by 10. We had a large dog with us, but he is very well behaved, always under control, and doesn't bark (unlike quite a few of the other dogs at the parked that barked constantly). However, we had no idea all the nosy, busybody permanent residents that reside here. They stood in a large group watching us when we pulled in-it should have been our first clue. Another said we supposedly released the large dog on her (which we did NOT) after she complained about our UTV (which is pretty quiet and we drove slowly) only around the corner and out of the campground (there was nothing in the paperwork we received that said this wasn't allowed). Yet another said my husband and brother-in-law destroyed lights in the channel with an anchor (my husband doesn't even have an anchor on his boat--complete LIE!). This was the most bizarre group of people I have EVER encountered!! Then, the campground called us after we left and said we would not be welcome back?! Which is fine, since we had already planned to never return. In all the years that I have been camping-I have NEVER seen anything like the strange people at this campground and I will make sure to let everyone that I know that camps to avoid this park at all costs!!!
