This place is a great place to stay at. Beautiful views and very courteous camp ground members. However the owners are a bit of a different story. We called the front desk to notify them that we were on the lake fishing until check in time and the woman on the phone (the owner) got really snappy and nasty with me for no reason, inspite of how polite I was. I also rented a boat, aluminum motor boat (50 a day). The male owner started it up, no problems at all. I get in it with my family and ride out to the middle of the lake to have the motor cut off on us. We had to row our boat back to shore. (Yes with the oars and in 90 degree weather). I tried to get a refund back, the male owner told me that sometimes the motors over heat, then he changed his story AFTER getting in the boat and riding out a few yards into the lake to have the boat turn off on him as well. I was told no refunds and basically I was out of luck because he has the cheapest aluminum rentals on the lake and that it costs him 30 dollars in oil and gasoline to keep the motor going for each boat and he claimed he had to replace a part of the motor because he "implied" that I broke it. I come here for the last 2 years and operated the motors the very exact same way. Huge spit in me and my familys face. We left here and went to Paradise (20 min away) and we caught over 250 legal fish via pontoon. Moral of story: Never again.
