Husband and I have been looking for a small quiet campground. Took a Sunday afternoon to take a drive up north and found this place. When driving in it looked cute, plenty of empty sites, small pond/lake and a general store.
While going threw the campground we were met by whom I guessed is the owner on a golf cart. He pulled in front of our van and cut us off. Slurring and Sloppy drunk telling us that it's private property, we don't want you here, and we had to leave. Even though the sign out front clearly says "open to the public" and it's not like we were setting up camp. We were scouting and greatful we did. He was rude, obnoxious and drunk. If this is how you treat people looking for a place of relaxation, I would hate to see what it's like to actually stay there. Avoid this place!
