After a great evening touring the park for a seasonal site with Wendy and Lou, we found the mean lady everyone else talks about in the reviews. We are in search of a new seasonal campground for next year, that's what prompted our visit. After spending 2 hours touring the camp on Wednesday, my wife and I had a few questions. The following afternoon, I called and talked to, name left out on purpose. The biggest question i had was the direction the camper had to be on the site we liked and would they assist with a tractor. She wasn't 100% sure but was telling me the camper would have to go in the site parallel to the road, making it impossible to hook up to my truck without tractor assistance. She told me that they would help put it on the site one time and pull it out one time. They will not help at any other time. All I did was ask her to confirm the camper direction and if they would consider assisting a couple of times during the summer. We like to visit state parks as well as have a seasonal. I was basically told that she would check and look at the site, but it would be in my best interest to pick another site. Either way, she never called back. Oh well, it was a nice-looking park, but I have no interest in overpaying for a campground that the managers have no personality.
