We stayed in early September at campsite 55 right on Bunches creek.
Positives:
The site was spacious. We got lucky and there were no campers in sites 56 and 57 and since there's foliage blocking the majority of site 54 it made for quite a private feel. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
For a campground with 60+ sites, they only have one bathhouse and the men's restroom has only 2 stalls and 2 urinals (one was out of order when we were there). The women's restroom has 4 stalls. Each has 4 showers. The campground wasn't full/busy when we visited and we had no issues, but we couldn't imagine that one bathhouse servicing the campground when full.
We didn't realize that the road our campsite was on wasn't just a campground road, it's a main road that others travel, and we had to walk that road to get back and forth to the bathrooms.
The campground wifi only worked for us if we were sitting at the bathhouse/pavilion area and it seemed to be the spot for campers to hang out and smoke which we didn't like. We have AT&T and had no service in the campground.
If we were to visit the area again, we would pick a different campground. The location was a negative for us, but we are "on the go" campers who are out hiking or doing activities during the day. Indian Creek Campground seems like it's more for those campers who want to fish or relax at their site.
