We were there for a few days the week before Memorial weekend and there were only 6-10 other campsites occupied so it was nice and quiet. This was the first time we camped at a campground with showers and it was great to be able to take a warm shower when mornings were in the mid 30s. Yes - we're tent campers.
There is also a trail around the lake for a nice walk.
