I'm disappointed with the recent changes in management at this campground. As a loyal camper for the past 10 years, bringing a group of 7-10 sites multiple times a year, I regret to say that this will be our final visit. The rates have been significantly increased, yet basic maintenance like mowing the grass before a busy weekend seems to be neglected. Moreover, they have inexplicably changed the checkout time from 1pm to 11am and are quick to threaten extra charges if you exceed the time even by a minute.
Another issue is the discontinuation of garbage pickup, which wouldn't be a major problem if there were adequate provisions. However, with only two dumpsters available for this large campground, they are overflowing by Saturday on busy weekends, leaving campers with no place to dispose of their trash. It appears that the management is actively pushing away campers with their approach. If they choose to adopt an unwelcoming attitude and raise rates, it is essential for them to ensure good service and maintain clean, well-maintained sites.
