The good: Spacious sites. Beautiful forest. Clean fire ring. Short distance to Lake Superior shoreline and Pictured Rocks. The downside: No firewood available despite reservation email requesting that wood be purchased at the campground. Had to turn around and return to AuTrain after a long/exhausting day with a tired and crabby kid. Also, quiet time was not enforced. Please make sure campers are quiet in the future. Really put a damper on our stay.
