This is another place where I spent some serious summer time as a child. Lots of great memories. Was disappointed as I couldn’t find a concession store but I thoroughly enjoyed the many trails. Most were completely empty on a beautiful day in May. Some were still quite wet but the solitude and beauty were exactly what I remembered. Tall pines. Logging camp history. Chapel in the Woods. All good.
