My family has been coming to walnut hills for about 12 yrs. When we first started going there, we always got a spot along the river. We absolutely loved it. Now they have so many seasonal people taking them all. I think that’s quite unfair. We’ve camped in lots of different sites. Some great, some not so much. The store is good and could be stocked a bit better and the cost has gone up significantly. I personally think if you’re camping then it shouldn’t cost campers to play on the witbit. I’m just hoping it doesn’t turn into a big expensive place that’s not a reasonable place for people to go camping anymore. We’ve always liked how small town it is. Some change is good. Some, not so much!
