We generally enjoyed our stay but were left wanting. At the time of our stay they had 24 google reviews with an average of 4.7 stars. We booked for labor day weekend 6 weeks ahead of time for an electric camper site. We were going to be arriving late due to an emergency and called to let them know. They seemed confused as if to have a hard time finding the reservation them noted they werent sure where to put us have space because someone with only two spaces reserved showed up with 8 trailers. When we finally arrived at 10, extremly late we admit, they were nice enough to have someone show us where our spot was. But unfortuntely it was within the boat trailer parking, and they ran an extension cord to us. The next day we asked, if they had a spot open up, if we could move into an actual site. Luckily a better spot did open up and we were grateful for that. The showers were not very well kept. There was random junk all around, like things people leave sitting around their yards for years ( abandoned paddle boats with mold, old unused patio sets without cushions, etc) there is only one public toilet in the laundry room. It's a beautiful lake and I bet the fishing is fantastic. Its very quiet. Staff seems friendly. There's a grocery store a few miles down the road. But to call it a resort is a stretch of the word. Campground, sure. I'd camp here a night or two on my way through the area. But thats about it. I just saw some raving reviews online and couldn't understand it when we got there. Just wanted to leave a realistic review for anyone looking.
