My husband and I lived here for over a year in our camper. Sandy (the mother in law) did an amazing job keeping everything going. If there was an issue we knew we could go to her. The owner Sara on the other hand was worthless. She wants the money but not to do the work. To treat her mother in law as free labour (yes you read that right she didn’t pay her for keeping up with the property). The sites themselves are minimal and shoddy. Very poorly designed and put together. If you want to stay in a campground that’s more accessible go further north to the one outside of grand forks. Then at least you will be closer to laundry services.
In regards to our arrangement with Sandy that was between us. I offered to pay her and she refused. We shared meals with her and drinks and other things. We did keep our site clean. In the year and a half we were there it was towards the end of our visit you finally got the laundry fixed. As for the gravel, if you used the proper class the newer section would not be so uneven and campers wouldn’t sink in the mud. I will say you were nice to work with in the beginning and then I think greed over took you. Both my husband and I have run businesses, we understand you have to make a living as well, you just don’t need to be greedy. All I can say is I am glad we are out of there and I know friends that have stayed there have had the same sentiments we have.
