Wonderful hidden gem. We stayed here before entering the BWCA (Entry Point 14 is ten minutes down the road). We reserved a site, but all of the First Come, First Served sites were still open at 7pm. Being a quick drive from the EP made this place a no brainer -- I'd suggest everyone to do this if you can to avoid the drive from Ely in the morning.

The campground was clean, quiet, and offered solid amenities all things considered. There are two vault toilets and running water, so we were happy. The lake looked nice and there's a boat launch at the campground.
