The sites were staggered in such a way that it was confusing as to which way to pull in. You and your neighbor are able to watch each other eat, campfire etc. So our site wasn’t very private. Everyone was respectful. Quiet hours observed.
The nearest bathroom to our site was by the water slide. It needs updating. I didn’t feel the showers offered the necessary privacy with the outdated shower curtain.
While I was in the process of checking in the owner/manager engages his staff in a conversation about renting vehicles that need charging or what not. HELLO! Was someone going to finish checking me in? Look I have money. I’m going to spend it at your campground how about giving me some attention!?
The dump station is at the front by the office. It’s hard to dump when you’re pulling in to the campground because it’s on the wrong side of the RV.
You have to circle around as if you’re going to exit the campground to put your RV in a position where you can use the dump station. That means you’re facing on coming traffic and you’re blocking the entrance.
They do have a honey wagon that will come around and clean out black and gray water tanks for a small fee.
A big “SHOUT OUT” to the nice girl working at the counter who drives a blue Jeep. I hope you get lots of ducks. And to the super nice guy who drives the honey wagon. Thank you.
