First I'd like to say it was a beautiful area and I'm always happy to find a dog friendly tent camping area. They had small beautiful trails and paths near the water that were gorgeous. The majority of spots are extremely close together so definitely don't choose if you're looking for privacy as you won't get that here at all. At first I thought the small gravel spots were a good thing, until we got rain and realized those gravel spots become huge puddles. The kayak rentals weren't available due to rain the day before so that was a huge bummer. We went into multiple bathrooms, the one closest to the offices was the nicest and cleanest, the other two were bug infested and although I know it's outside and bugs are expected, this was the most "buggy" campground I've ever been too. The flies were just horrid. And even with enormous amounts of bug spray, expect getting bit. We spent most of our time in our tent due to all of these reasons. Still, for the price, a quick camping trip wasn't too bad. Probably won't go back though.
