We came just to float the river on a weekend morning during a work trip with the family. What a GREAT time! I can't speak for the camping/overnight, but the folks running the place were very friendly! Our group of 3 was driven up river about 5 miles and dropped off and had a memorable time floating down the river back to the campground! Took maybe 2.5 hours to arrive after getting in. We tried taking it slow, but the river's current pretty much kept you moving the whole time. Only got stuck once at a fork in the river that was rather shallow, not a big deal. Walked it over about 40 or 50 feet was all and we were back on our way. In late July, the water was very cold and refreshing!
