I took my daughter fishing here while we waited for my son to spend a few hours on the nearby mountain bike trails. She didn't catch anything but it was lovely to sit on the benches watching the kingfishers while she fished. The water was pretty cloudy and we didn't get a bite the whole time we were there, but one great feature is that it is wheelchair accessible both the parking lot and the trail that goes around the pond. It would be a great place to take someone with mobility issues.
