We love going here on days we can. It's peaceful, quiet and reserved. We usually see moose along the way. Other boaters are friendly and respectful. They have campsites available as a first come, first serve. Most are boat access. We love cruising the canal and just enjoying the scenery that leads to the lake. Great fishing! Not many areas to shore fish and wouldn't swim, bountiful and huge leaches are in the shallows and the deep and it's murky water.
