So I was prompted by google to leave a review regarding “Gray Ghost Camps” this morning… I could probably write 10,000 words or more to express my full enjoyment of this place, but, I will try to refine that to a few sentences that will convey a reasonable, impression and expectation for you.

If I HAD to pick “one word?” It would be: “YES,” lol.. If I was to add to that “yes…” I would add, “this is the place you’ve been looking for…”

A family owned and operated business that is packed with thoughtful extras. Set on the beautiful Moose River, they offer an old fashioned escape from the stresses of our modern cities and towns. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. That river flows 24 hours a day and is the “sentinel of serenity.” Lots of wildlife around to stumble upon. Steve and Amy (and family) have put a lot into considering the experience of their guests. Very generous people.

I always shop for “value” when looking for a place to stay in Maine. I always leave Gray Ghost Camps thinking: what a great deal! You might find another cabin elsewhere that has a cheaper number on it. But, I doubt you can find any as nicely maintained as these are! Certainly the best overall value I could recommend! Great experience, and great memories to take home with you…
