Arrived on Friday for a weekend getaway with our 3 Yorkies. We were told no pet fencing allowed and all dogs must be kept on leash at all times.( No problem with that, we can follow the rules.) Checked in and was greeted by multiple cats roaming the campgrounds, probably why the leash rule is in play and no pet fencing allowed. Settled in and after a short dog walk around the campground we noticed 4 pet fences set up with dogs in them. What a let down, now our doggies will be tied to a leash for the weekend. Fishing from the pier is not possible since the last major storm has blown it away. Only the posts are left and a sketchy roof holding on for life. No problem we are there to fish, we are there for doggie beach days. They beach only let's dogs on it from 7am -9am and 3pm- 5pm. No pets can be left unattended so you get the picture. Quiet campground except for the magnolia trees dropping the clusters on your camper and head if you aren't careful. The Squirrels are fun to watch but even more fun to watch the cats try and catch one. The shower /bathroom house is good , didn't use the laundry services. Not many places are pet friendly in this area, so keep that in mind.
