Nice for what it is! This is an interesting and beautiful property with great views of the water. The campground is rustic and the cabins and inn seemed very nice (we were camping at an RV site).
We were the only folks at the campground the first night of our stay. We don’t expect much when we camp, and we weren’t planning to use the fire pit because the bugs were so vicious, but our fire pit was the only one with garbage in it. It was disappointing that our site wasn’t looked over before we arrived (since we were the only campers that night). Wash house was rustic, moderately clean and you do have to pay for showers (any shower water, not just hot water, bring quarters)- the equivalent of a state park wash house. For the price point, it’s okay to ask someone to pay for showers OR put up with a little garbage in the fire pit upon arrival, but not both.
